As a mum to twins, Jessica and Henry, I have a special place in my heart for the bond that reading has created between us. From the moment they were born, I fell in love with reading to them every night. It was our time – a moment no one could take away from us and where we could escape into the world of books together.

In those early days, I found myself reading all the beautiful stories I'd heard about – the ones that make you smile and pull at your heartstrings. But something wasn't right. I noticed that all of these stories referred to just one child, and I found myself changing the words so that both of my children felt included and involved in the story. That's when I made a promise to my beautiful twins – I promised them that one day I would write our story. And that's exactly what I did.

 

Our stories are tales of love, laughter, and the special bond between twins. I wrote these stories to show my twins (and other families with twins) that their story is just as special and important as any other.
